Photographers have always tried to do something a little different with their shots, from selective colours, outlandish manipulations, to just adding a bit of movement to shots, photographers have always tried to get a little more from what they had. To an extent this is what makes it personal. Back in the day there was dark room tricks, but the digital age has made it a bit easier for those who don't want to spend their time mixing various chemicals to find out you've just made a hash of a good shot. Clive Marchant is probably the highest regarded amongst the oval racing community for their digital adapttations. Roy Scorer has also done some fantastic pieces, while myself and Paul Whelan join an army of new age digital artists trying their hand. Here is a selection of some of the artworks I have produced. I hope to make a series feature of digital pieces, including works from Clive, if you like what you see, keep checking back.
