I'm somewhat stuck for something to write, so in short it was the most miserable wet, cold, windy night of racing I can ever recall going to in May. I've now 2 cameras in the hotpress in they hope they dry out and are both functioning for tomorrow, we'd to close NIOvalTV because the rain was hitting the back of it and all the stock was getting wet and we'd to stop filming because the footage was just a blur and it wasn't worth risking the cameras for it.

On the track there was some good racing for those who could endured standing out to watch it, or had their cars pointed the right way to see it..... or didn't have someone parked in front of them for the closing laps of the NHR final.
Final wins went to Sam McNeice (Ninja Karts), Marc Morrell (Stock Rods), Derek McMillan (2.0 Hot Rods), David Kernohan (Reliant Robins) and Gary Wilson (NHR).

Let's hope there isn't too many more nights like that this season.
