2011 - #27 - Northampton - 13/8/2011
Into August and this was only my second trip away of the season, there seems something just not quite right about that, but never mind. The 2011 tour continued at Northampton for the F1's and National Hot Rods.

The F1's seemed to be lacking a number of cars and some star names, but Andy Smith and Mick Sworder had a few running battles throughout the evening and it wouldn't really have mattered how many other cars were on track with them.

I don't claim to understand how the NHR grids are worked out at home, but was more confuded at how far up the grid Chris Haird was starting in their Qualifier. A good grid of Nationals put on some good racing throughout the night.
Ex 2 Litre Hot Rod star Mark Paffey took the final with Chris Haird runner up.
