We somehow managed to get through the meeting relatively dry, but my good camera broke mid way through the meeting which put bigger dampener on proceedings. [see the full article] Added: 19 Jun 2012 Category: 2012 Oval Racing 2012 - #21 – Tullyroan Oval – 17/6/12 The second day of the banger weekend and the turn of the Unlimited National bangers, this time with the ProStocks, Lightning Rods and Junior Productions as a supporting act. This was also the first Sunday afternoon meeting at Tullyroan Oval and thankfully the weather had taken a turn for the better and was dry and sunny, up until the end of the DD anyway. [see the full article] Added: 18 Jun 2012 Category: 2012 Oval Racing 2012 - #20 – Tullyroan Oval – 16/6/12 The first day of the first National Banger two day meeting in Northern Ireland, which initially was going to be England V Ireland, that fell through and it was then going to be North V South, that too didn’t work and so it was settled as an Irish Open Championship and the first sight of racing at Tullyroan in wet conditions. Before the meeting had even started Jay Jay McConaghie had been upside down in his Robin and Glenn McDowell had been into the wall on the back straight. In honour of the occasion I skipped my normal weekly exercise session of an hour of indoor football on a Friday night in order to miss none of it.
